During the Sharad Pawar-led party's 'Shivrajya Yatra' in Badnapur on Sunday, NCP (SP) Maharashtra unit chief Jayant Patil confronted activists demanding clarity on the party's stance regarding reservations for the Maratha community.

Patil, along with Lok Sabha MP Amol Kolhe and MLA Rajesh Tope, faced organized sloganeering. Similar incidents have occurred in Ghanswanghi, close to Antarwali Sarati, the center of the Maratha quota stir led by activist Manoj Jarange.

In Bhokardan, another event of the yatra saw disruptions that prevented Patil from delivering his speech. Patil, calling out the indiscipline, insinuated that such actions aided BJP leader and former Union minister Raosaheb Danve of Bhokardan.
