Congress leader Mumtaz Patel launched a scathing attack on BJP MP Kangana Ranaut over her remarks on the farmer's agitation, terming her statements as insensitive and useless. Patel criticized the BJP's decision to give Ranaut a political platform, predicting future problems due to her controversial remarks.

Congress leader Kunwar Danish Ali echoed Patel's sentiments, demanding the BJP remove Ranaut from the party if they do not agree with her controversial statement about the farmers' protests. Ali emphasized that the BJP should apologize for Ranaut's insensitive comments.

In response, the BJP distanced itself from Mandi MP Kangana Ranaut's statements, clarifying that her views do not reflect the party's position. The party directed Ranaut to refrain from making further statements on such issues, reaffirming its commitment to social harmony and collective progress.

Earlier, Congress MP Randeep Singh Surjewala also condemned Ranaut's remarks, accusing the BJP of lying, deceiving, and oppressing farmers. Surjewala questioned the silence of top BJP leaders on the matter and suggested that Ranaut's comments might be part of the party's election strategy.
