BJP Announces Fourth List of Candidates for J&K Assembly Polls

BJP released its fourth list of candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, including union territory president Ravinder Raina. This list adds to the 51 candidates named so far. The elections, marked since Article 370's revocation, will occur in three phases starting September 18.

The BJP has released its fourth list of six candidates for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections, featuring union territory president Ravinder Raina as a key contender from Nowshera in the Jammu region.

The new list brings the total to 51 candidates, including 14 for the Kashmir Valley, where the BJP has yet to win an assembly seat.

Ravinder Raina, who previously won from Nowshera in 2014 and became the BJP president for J&K in May 2018, expressed gratitude and confidence in the party's prospects under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
