The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday unveiled a second list of nine candidates for the Haryana assembly elections, slated for October 5. This announcement follows the release of a 20-candidate list on Monday after seat-sharing talks with the Congress failed.
The new list includes candidates for constituencies such as Indri, Sadhaura, Thanesar, Ratia, Adampur, Barwala, Tigaon, Faridabad, and Bawal. Hawa Singh will contest from Indri, and Pravesh Mehta from Faridabad.
State party chief Sushil Gupta stated that the AAP aims to contest all 90 seats to overthrow the current BJP government, which he accused of turning Haryana into a crime hub with high unemployment rates. The deadline for nomination paper submissions is September 12.
