In a statement on Wednesday, former Union Minister Anurag Thakur took aim at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of undermining India's image on the global stage.

Thakur claimed that the Congress party, which he alleges has aimed to dismantle India's reservation system, has a history of spreading misinformation. Referring to past remarks made by Gandhi in the US, Thakur said that the Congress has always had a mentality against reservation.

Addressing the media at the 'Viksit Bharat Ambassador - Yuva Connect Program' at Fergusson College, Thakur insisted that the Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah should resign amidst serious corruption charges, following a recent High Court decision.
