Sharad Pawar Leads Candidate Interviews for Pune's Assembly Seats

Sharad Pawar, NCP (SP) chief, interviewed ticket candidates for eight Pune assembly constituencies, including Kothrud and Kasba. Over 15 aspirants, including city NCP chief Prashant Jagtap, showed up. The interviews, held at Nisarg Mangal Karyalaya, also included candidates like Surendra Pathare and his father, Bapusaheb Pathare.

Sharad Pawar, the chief of NCP (SP), conducted interviews on Wednesday for candidates aspiring to contest in eight assembly constituencies within Pune city and adjoining districts.

City NCP chief Prashant Jagtap noted that over 15 candidates were interviewed for seats including Kothrud, Kasba, and Vadgaon Sheri. Jagtap himself is among the aspirants for the Hadapsar constituency.

The interviews, taking place at Nisarg Mangal Karyalaya, saw hopefuls like Surendra Pathare and his father, Bapusaheb Pathare. The Pathares, formerly associated with the BJP, have joined NCP (SP) recently seeking a chance in Wadgaon Sheri.
