Suburban voters, comprising about 50% of the U.S. electorate, have become a pivotal focus. While Biden led Trump by six points in suburban counties during the 2020 presidential election, Harris now enjoys a lead of 47% to 41% over Trump among suburban voters—a reversal of nine points in favor of the Democrats since June, when Trump led Biden.
