Ahead of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra's nomination filing for the Wayanad Lok Sabha bypoll, her brother Rahul Gandhi expressed confidence in her as the best choice for the constituency. The nomination, scheduled for Wednesday, will be attended by prominent Congress leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge and Sonia Gandhi.

Rahul Gandhi shared his sentiments on social media, noting the special connection he feels with the people of Wayanad and his belief in Priyanka's ability to advocate for their needs effectively in Parliament.

In addition to filing her nomination, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will spearhead a roadshow from Kalpetta New Bus Stand, set to begin at 11 AM, just before submitting her nomination at 12 noon. This move marks her first electoral contest in a seat previously represented by her brother, Rahul Gandhi.
