In a bold assertion, National Conference president Farooq Abdullah declared that Pakistan will never prevail in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that those aspiring for the region's annexation to Pakistan have failed in their endeavors.
Abdullah, the former chief minister, emphasized India's diverse yet unified strength, advocating for the removal of religious hatred to foster national peace and development. Speaking at the bustling Ragunath market, he expressed optimism about the region's future under new governance, foreseeing growth and prosperity.
He reiterated the importance of combating terrorism and highlighted Jammu and Kashmir as 'the crown of India.' Abdullah underscored the necessity of reviving the 'darbar move' for regional unity and pledged improved infrastructure, statehood restoration, and employment opportunities for the youth.
