In response to questions about potential power-sharing and the prospects of the PMK and BJP joining forces with the AIADMK alliance, Palaniswami dismissed such inquiries as speculative. He underscored that the party would only consider partnerships with parties sharing similar ideological stances.
Addressing the possibility of rejoining forces with BJP, Palaniswami emphasized that alliances are crafted according to the immediate political climate preceding major elections, highlighting the temporary nature of past alliances, such as severing ties with BJP in 2023 after collaborating in earlier elections.
