In a bold move, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has launched a scathing critique of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, accusing his office of acting as a proxy for the BJP. This development follows a controversial remark by the AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, labeling Atishi a 'temporary chief minister', prompting Saxena's criticism.
Atishi swiftly defended Kejriwal, asserting him as Delhi's 'tallest leader' and admonishing Saxena for engaging in what she termed as 'petty politics'. She strongly urged the Lieutenant Governor to abandon partisan approaches and instead focus on fostering collaboration to effectively address the needs and promises of the Delhi administration.
Highlighting the alleged obstruction of the 'Mahila Samman Yojana', Atishi decried the political maneuvering at the expense of public welfare. She passionately argued for the Lieutenant Governor to prioritize the welfare of ordinary citizens over political interests, expressing hope for positive shifts in governance despite the ongoing tensions.
