Despite this, he remains active in his Vatican schedule, recently appearing at Italy's Sanremo festival and maintaining daily appointments, even after suffering two minor falls earlier.

Amid ongoing health challenges, Pope Francis is persevering with his duties despite experiencing a bout of bronchitis. For the second time in weeks, he had to rely on an aide to deliver his prepared remarks at the Vatican's weekly general audience.

Pope Francis, who is 88 years old, expressed his hope to recover soon from the bronchitis, which the Vatican had previously termed a strong cold. Nonetheless, he participated in the hour-long audience, offering brief comments at various points.

The Pope remains committed to his responsibilities, maintaining his daily Vatican schedule and making a video appearance at Italy's Sanremo song festival recently. This comes after two minor falls at the Vatican residence resulted in a chin bruise and arm injury.
