Haryana Legislative Assembly Members Embark on Two-Day Orientation

A two-day orientation programme for Haryana Legislative Assembly members starts Friday, featuring prominent political figures. Organized by the Haryana Legislative Assembly and PRIDE, the event is aimed at enhancing legislative effectiveness and understanding, with key sessions led by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Harivansh.

A two-day orientation programme for Haryana Legislative Assembly members is set to begin on Friday, as announced by officials. The event, organized by the Haryana Legislative Assembly in collaboration with the Institute for Parliamentary Democracy Research and Training (PRIDE), aims to bolster legislative effectiveness.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will inaugurate the program, which concludes Saturday with a session by Deputy Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Harivansh. During these two days, legislators will delve into critical topics such as parliamentary privileges, the role of ministers in legislative processes, and executive accountability.

The event will see attendance from notable figures including Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, and other dignitaries. Additionally, Lok Sabha members like Jagdambika Pal and Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal will contribute their insights, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience for attendees.
