This discussion took place during the Munich Security Conference, a pivotal platform for security and diplomatic dialogues.
Expressing the strength of their bilateral partnership, Jaishankar tweeted about the significance of their meeting with Saar, highlighting the proactive dialogue on West Asian affairs. In line with these discussions, a statement from Saar's office noted Israel's strategic importance placed on relations with India.
The two ministers also discussed Trump's ambitious plan for a trade route connecting India to the US through Israel and Italy, a multi-billion dollar initiative aimed at altering global trade dynamics. The project, previously highlighted at the G20 Summit, underscores a major cooperative effort with implications on global infrastructure and geopolitical landscapes.
