The DMK government in Tamil Nadu is under fire following allegations of increased sexual offences within the state's educational institutions. The criticism, mainly from the AIADMK, highlights what they perceive as the government's inadequate response.

In response to growing unrest, DMK spokesperson TKS Elangovan highlighted the government's commendable track record in tackling such issues. 'We have suspended many teachers. Legislation has been introduced, and we ensure those guilty cannot return to the profession,' he stated.

Despite these assertions, AIADMK national spokesperson Kovai Sathyan criticized the DMK, alleging that the issue is widespread and neglected. 'Sexual harassment is rampant in Tamil Nadu's educational sector,' he argued. The protests symbolize a call for justice and better governance, amid claims of favoritism towards party leaders.
