BJP leader and Forest Minister Ganesh Naik emphasized unity within the Mahayuti alliance during a Janta Darbar held in Thane, a stronghold of Deputy CM Eknath Shinde. The public hearing aimed to address and resolve citizens' issues locally, strengthening communal ties and dismissing rumors of internal rivalry.

Despite speculation of discord between the BJP and Shiv Sena, Naik reaffirmed the coalition's commitment to a progressive alliance under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputies Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. With this initiative, Naik intends to inhibit any notion of one-upmanship or competition among allies.

Naik, backed by colleagues like Nationalist Congress Party MLA Sanjay Kelkar, highlighted the importance of public acceptance and local support in politics. Continuing efforts in Palghar and other districts, Naik plans to extend the Janta Darbar model, initiated by him in the 1990s, to ensure citizen grievances are addressed efficiently.
