The Delhi Assembly witnessed significant tensions as Speaker Vijender Gupta suspended 12 AAP MLAs, including opposition leader Atishi and MLA Gopal Rai, during a tumultuous session. The actions unfolded as the Lieutenant Governor began his address, prompting AAP legislators to disrupt proceedings with slogans, leading to an atmosphere of chaos.

Following their suspension, the MLAs took their protest outside the Assembly, vocally opposing the state government and carrying Babasaheb Ambedkar posters. Meanwhile, the BJP-led Delhi government, under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, is preparing to present 14 CAG reports on the assembly's second day, aimed at scrutinizing the AAP's previous administration.

The reports are anticipated to expose financial irregularities under the AAP. Delhi BJP chief Virendraa Sachdeva asserted that the CAG findings would uncover the AAP's alleged corruption, fulfilling the BJP's electoral promise of accountability. BJP leaders insist the revelations will demonstrate the exploitation of Delhi's taxpayers by the AAP.
