Mohammed Salim has secured another term as the state secretary of the CPI(M)'s West Bengal unit, following a unanimous decision made during the party's 27th conference.
Taking place in Dankuni, Hooghly district, the event led to the formation of an 80-member state committee, of which 14 are women. It also introduced 11 new faces.
The conference serves as a platform to address contemporary challenges in West Bengal's politics, tackling unemployment, public issues, and education sector concerns before its conclusion on Thursday.
