Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday categorically denied any injustice towards Tamil Nadu's fund allocation, refuting claims by Chief Minister M K Stalin as attempts to divert attention. Shah stated that the Narendra Modi government has allocated Rs 5,08,337 crore to Tamil Nadu during the 2014-24 period, challenging Stalin's misinformation on the delimitation exercise.

Shah further assured that no southern state, including Tamil Nadu, would face a reduction in parliamentary representation, addressing concerns over potential delimitation implications. He criticized the ruling DMK for law and order issues, alleging corruption and accusing the party of diverting public attention from the state's challenges.

Speaking at the inauguration of the BJP party office, Shah expressed confidence in NDA's victory in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, suggesting it would surpass previous wins in Maharashtra and Haryana. The event also saw the virtual inauguration of BJP offices in Tiruvannamalai and Ramanathapuram.
