BJP Accuses DMK of Inciting Division Over Education Policy
BJP member Nishikant Dubey accused the DMK of trying to divide India by opposing the National Education Policy (NEP) and parliamentary constituency delimitation. Dubey claims the DMK's stance is a tactic to avoid losing upcoming elections in Tamil Nadu by inciting regional passions and promoting English over local languages.

In a heated session of the Lok Sabha, BJP member Nishikant Dubey launched a scathing attack on the DMK, alleging the party's attempt to fracture the nation by opposing both the National Education Policy (NEP) and parliamentary constituency delimitation. Dubey's statements come amidst a verbal clash between the central government and the Tamil Nadu administration under M K Stalin.
Dubey argues that the DMK's opposition is motivated by electoral fears, as Tamil Nadu assembly polls are on the horizon. He contends that the DMK is fanning regional sentiments, echoing concerns over the potential elevation of English as a primary medium, disrupting India's linguistic harmony.
In a related matter, BJP's Saumitra Khan raised alarm over illegal immigration issues, claiming mass voter registration of Rohingya Muslims in West Bengal. Khan called for intervention from the Union Home Ministry to address this growing concern in border areas.
