On Wednesday, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin vehemently criticized the National Education Policy (NEP), labeling it as a 'Saffron policy' mainly aimed at promoting Hindi. He argued that the policy, proposed by the BJP, threatens Tamil Nadu's educational advancements and opposes the essence of social justice through the exclusion of reservation.

Speaking at a public rally, Stalin accused the BJP of strategic political maneuvers through the proposed delimitation exercise. According to him, the BJP's efforts are directed towards increasing their parliamentary influence in the northern states, which forms the crux of their political stronghold.

Stalin emphasized the DMK's opposition, declaring that they would ensure the prevention of such policies. Furthermore, he criticized the NEP for its vocational education agenda, alleging it as an attempt to enforce caste-based education, opposing the state's dedication to educational equity.
