BRS to Join Tamil Nadu's Delimitation Conclave

The opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) in Telangana has announced its participation in a meeting called by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin, scheduled for March 22, to deliberate on the delimitation issue. This confirmation came from BRS leader K T Rama Rao on Thursday.

The announcement followed a visit by a DMK delegation, which included Tamil Nadu Minister K N Nehru and Rajya Sabha member N R Elango, who formally invited BRS leaders to the meeting in Chennai. Rama Rao, who also serves as BRS's Working President, stated that BRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao instructed the party to attend and share its perspectives.

The meeting will focus on the Southern region's historic success in implementing family planning initiatives without penalization, a stance emphasized by BRS. The party will soon do a formal selection on who will represent them at the Chennai gathering, as talks with various party leaders unfold.
