In a bold military maneuver named 'Operation Sindoor,' India targeted core terror infrastructures in Pakistan on Wednesday. The precision attacks aimed at training camps and launch pads of Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba.
This non-escalatory strike was a response to the Pahalgam attack, aiming to deter further terrorist activities. The Indian armed forces executed the operation without violating Pakistan's airspace, according to officials.
The operation heightened tensions between the two nations, resulting in over 200 flight cancellations and the temporary closure of 18 airports, including Srinagar. PM Modi's planned visit to Europe was also postponed due to the escalating situation.
