Raj Thackeray Criticizes War Response to Terrorism

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has voiced his concerns over the government's approach to tackling terrorism, asserting that war is not the answer. Addressing reporters, he stressed the importance of identifying the perpetrators of recent terror attacks within the country.

Thackeray's remarks came as Indian armed forces conducted missile strikes in Pakistan. He questioned the security lapses that led to the attack in Pahalgam, where 26 civilians were killed. Instead of military demonstrations, Thackeray advocated for comprehensive combing operations across India.

Criticizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's actions post-attack, Thackeray suggested that government efforts should prioritize dismantling terrorist networks rather than symbolic gestures. He called for addressing the drug menace and improving internal security measures.
