The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar is set to launch a statewide 'Tiranga Yatra' on Wednesday, celebrating the success of Operation Sindoor. Party president Dilip Jaiswal confirmed the event, which highlights Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to combating terrorism.
Jaiswal announced plans for the yatra to span all state divisions on Thursday, with further events at the block level from Friday. He emphasized the involvement of party MPs, legislators, and leaders in coordinating the processions, which will run until May 23.
Operation Sindoor involved Indian precision strikes on terror infrastructure in response to an earlier attack. The yatra seeks to connect with citizens, promoting patriotism and showcasing the bravery of the armed forces while transcending political affiliations.
