Colombian Senator Miguel Uribe is once again fighting for his life as he undergoes another surgery following a violent attack earlier this month. The 39-year-old, a notable presidential hopeful, was critically injured after being shot in the head during a campaign rally in Bogota on June 7.
Uribe's wife, Maria Claudia Tarazona, took to social media to share her faith and optimism. Before his surgery, she posted a heartfelt message expressing her hope for his recovery and shared an emotional family photo.
Following the procedure, Tarazona communicated on social media that it marked a "small step" in his recovery journey, and extended her gratitude for the outpouring of prayers and support from well-wishers.
