YSRCP president and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has called on the youth of his party to challenge the TDP-led government's alleged 'anti-people agenda'. Speaking at a Youth Wing meeting in Tadepalli, Reddy urged members to engage with the public and use social media to expose what he described as the government's failures.
Reddy recalled the YSRCP's challenging beginnings and underscored its resilience, noting that the party started with just two MLAs but gained substantial support in subsequent bypolls. He claimed the TDP poached 23 YSRCP MLAs after the 2014 elections but stressed that the party remained steadfast with the populace.
To strengthen YSRCP's grassroots network, Reddy announced plans to appoint zone-wise working presidents within the Youth Wing. These roles will be filled by promising leaders who may contest in future Assembly elections. The opposition leader highlighted self-assessment, public engagement, and digital activism as critical strategies for energizing the party's base.
