Union Minister and North Goa MP Shripad Naik has been hospitalized at the Goa Medical College and Hospital due to a minor ailment, reported a senior official Tuesday.
The Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy was admitted for minor procedures following a routine medical check-up, with prompt discharge anticipated, the official stated.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant visited Naik, 72, assuring the public that he is stable and will be released soon, as he informed reporters on Tuesday.
