This assertion comes amid heightened concerns regarding pro-Khalistani activities in the UK, underscoring the need for international cooperation against terrorism.

Modi expressed gratitude to the British government for its firm stance against the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, highlighting an alignment between the two nations in rejecting any double standards in the fight against terrorism. This shared commitment strengthens diplomatic relations between India and the UK, particularly in the area of security cooperation.

The meeting culminated in the signing of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), a landmark pact designed to enhance trade relations.
