Yathindra Siddaramaiah Clarifies Statement on Mysuru Contributions

Yathindra Siddaramaiah, son of Karnataka's Chief Minister, has defended his contentious comments comparing his father's achievements in Mysuru to those of historical ruler Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, stating that his words were misinterpreted.

He emphasized that there was no intention to diminish the contributions of the distinguished king and highlighted the benefits brought to Mysuru by his father's government.

Despite demands from the opposition for an apology, Yathindra stood by his statement, arguing that statistical evidence supports his claims of significant government grants to the city under his father's leadership.
