Chirag Paswan, the Union Minister and LJP (Ram Vilas) chief, expressed confidence that Nitish Kumar will once again be sworn in as Chief Minister of Bihar following the forthcoming assembly elections. His statement came shortly after airing his past "regret" about supporting the current Nitish Kumar administration, which he accused of being soft on crime.
Speaking to journalists, Paswan also criticized the Opposition for targeting the Army and using Operation Sindoor to attack Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He reiterated the strength of the NDA alliance, affirming his allegiance to Modi's leadership as the elections approach.
Paswan defended the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls in Bihar, addressing the concerns raised by the Opposition regarding potential inaccuracies. He insisted that the revision process, which incorporates digital technology, would eventually be implemented nationwide and assured measures would be in place to prevent injustices.
