The passing of Shibu Soren, the influential former Chief Minister of Jharkhand and founder of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, has left many, including West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in deep mourning. His death marks the end of a significant chapter in Jharkhand's political landscape.

Soren, who was 81, succumbed to kidney-related ailments at a Delhi hospital. Known as 'Guru Dishom' among his Adivasi followers, Soren's contributions to both state and national politics cannot be understated.

Banerjee, sharing her grief on social media, extended heartfelt condolences to Soren's family, including his son Hemant Soren, who is the current Chief Minister of Jharkhand. She fondly remembered her respect and relationship with the late leader.
