Nation Bids Farewell to Jharkhand Leader Shibu Soren
President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid their last respects to Jharkhand Mukti Morcha founder Shibu Soren, who died at 81 due to a kidney ailment. Soren, known for his dedication to tribal communities, will be laid to rest in Ranchi.

President Droupadi Murmu attended Sir Ganga Ram Hospital to pay homage to Shibu Soren, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha founder, who passed away on Monday at age 81.
Soren had been receiving treatment for a kidney-related ailment since June 19. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also honored the former chief minister with his presence at the hospital.
The Prime Minister lauded Soren for his dedication to empowering tribal communities and the underprivileged. Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari stated that Soren's body will be taken to Ranchi for the final rites at his Morabadi residence.
