Eknath Shinde, a senior leader of the Shiv Sena and the Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra, has announced that his party extends 'unconditional support' to the BJP-led alliance in the upcoming vice-presidential election set for September 9.
During his Delhi visit, Shinde, after talks with Home Minister Amit Shah, revealed their joint strategy for Maharashtra's local body elections. He refuted claims of disputes with Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, asserting their cohesive work for state development.
Shinde lauded Amit Shah's accomplishments, commending his leadership for historic measures like repealing Article 370. Shiv Sena continues to align closely with the BJP and NCP in advancing both cooperative development and national security.
