Senior Congress leader V D Satheesan addressed media in Thiruvananthapuram, expressing the party's commitment to a comprehensive investigation while simultaneously asserting that action will occur only after a formal complaint emerges. Satheesan assured that the accuser, whom he regards as 'like a daughter', will be given due regard.

The controversy grows as cyberattacks against George escalate, alleged by Satheesan to be orchestrated by CPI(M) groups, while Congress promises strict action against any member involved in such attacks. Meanwhile, there has not yet been any response from Mamkootathil regarding the allegations.
