Raj Thackeray, president of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), met with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at his official residence in south Mumbai on Thursday. This encounter has stirred speculation within the state's political circles.
The meeting followed a joint electoral failure by the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) and the MNS in the BEST Employees' Co-operative Credit Society elections. The parties' panel failed to secure any of the 21 available seats, facing public rejection.
Amid the political undertones, Thackeray discussed ongoing issues, such as slum redevelopment leading to increased population density and traffic congestion. He proposed constructing underground parking lots and emphasized the need for stricter parking regulations.
