The Samajwadi Party's Uttar Pradesh unit has petitioned the state election commission to provide the 2003 voter list, alongside all subsequent lists, to improve electoral accuracy.
Following an intensive voter roll revision in Bihar, the Election Commission intends to expand these measures nationwide, with Uttar Pradesh poised for a similar update.
SP spokesperson Rajendra Chaudhary mentioned that the party is actively working to rectify voter list inaccuracies by leveraging booth-level agents and officers during the revision process.
