Nepal Prime Minister Sushila Karki, making history as the country's first woman to hold the position, conducted a landmark telephone call with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday. The discussion encompassed priorities for Nepal's interim government, with a strong emphasis on elections, accountability, and addressing youth demands.
In their conversation, Prime Minister Modi conveyed support for Nepal's efforts in building a corruption-free governance model, reinforcing the relationship between the two nations. Karki, 73, assured Modi of the Nepal government's dedication to these objectives.
