Congress General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala visited party president Mallikarjun Kharge at his residence on Friday to inquire about his health.
Kharge, aged 83, recently had a pacemaker implanted at M S Ramaiah Hospital. He was admitted on Tuesday and underwent the surgery on Wednesday. Doctors have recommended rest post-procedure.
Surjewala expressed joy over Kharge's positive spirits, stating they look forward to his continued guidance. Meanwhile, State IT Minister Priyank Kharge reported his father's good health and recent discharge, with plans to resume work soon.
