Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is poised to launch projects exceeding Rs 1,100 crore in poll-sensitive Nuapada district, officials confirmed on Monday.
Majhi plans to reveal these initiatives during a public meeting in Nuapada, following the passing of MLA Rajendra Dholakia in September, which necessitated a bypoll.
The CMO disclosed via social media that Majhi will announce 957 new projects, laying their foundation stones and inaugurating them. Meanwhile, significant political figures, including BJD leaders and Odisha Congress president Bhakta Charan Das, are converging in the district.
