In a solemn announcement, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Goa's Cabinet Minister and former Chief Minister, Ravi Naik, who passed away after a cardiac arrest.

Ravi Naik, aged 79, succumbed to a cardiac arrest at his hometown, located 30 km from Panaji, on Wednesday. He was rushed to a hospital in Ponda town but was declared dead shortly after arrival.

Naik is survived by his wife and two children. Recognized for his significant political contributions, the loss has left a void in Goa's political landscape. Chief Minister Adityanath extended his prayers for the family's strength and peace for Naik's soul.
