Myanmar elections unlikely to result in credible outcome, EU human rights envoy says
The European Union's Special Representative for Human Rights Kajsa Ollongren said planned elections in military-ruled Myanmar were unlikely to result in a credible outcome.
The EU has no plans to send election observers to Myanmar, as the necessary conditions for free and fair elections have not been met, Ollogren said in an interview in Kuala Lumpur.
