Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited the disaster-stricken Majhada village in Dehradun's Sahastradhara on Monday. He assessed ongoing reconstruction efforts in regions affected by recent floods. On September 15, heavy rainfall caused severe damage, burying three people under debris and damaging homes across the state.
In addition to his visit, CM Dhami extended Diwali greetings earlier today, wishing citizens happiness and prosperity. His message, shared via X post, emphasized the festive spirit, invoking blessings from deities Mother Mahalakshmi and Lord Ganesha for prosperity and well-being in residents' lives.
The Chief Minister also visited former CM Harish Rawat following his car accident in Meerut, ensuring his well-being. In a separate event, CM Dhami distributed appointment letters to newly appointed officers at the Revenue Council, congratulating them and highlighting the timely pre-Diwali joy for appointees and their families.
