In the face of rising speculation about the potential change of Chief Minister in Karnataka, current CM Siddaramaiah reaffirmed on Monday that any decision will be made by the Congress party's high command. He stated that discussions regarding a cabinet reshuffle will occur following the Bihar assembly elections.

"Despite public opinion, the high command's decision is ultimate. Post-Bihar elections, we'll discuss the reshuffle with them," Siddaramaiah told reporters in Mysuru. This followed denials from Minister Byrathi Suresh on October 29 about a leadership change, emphasizing that Siddaramaiah is effectively managing state affairs.

Minister Suresh, addressing rumors, said, "The Chief Minister's position is not open. There's no 'revolution,' just speculative news." When questioned about a potential Dalit CM, he remarked that everyone has the right to seek roles in a democracy, asserting Congress's leadership as committed and unified.

Deputy CM DK Shivakumar stated support for Siddaramaiah's leadership, affirming, "We follow his word," and leaving final decisions to the high command. Similarly, Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara highlighted that speculative talks by legislators lack relevance, as the Congress high command has the decisive role.
