The Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party (JKAP) has issued a strong condemnation of the Delhi blast that recently occurred near the Red Fort, causing tragic fatalities. A statement from the party, led by former minister Altaf Bukhari, emphasized the need for the perpetrators to face the toughest possible punishment.
During a press conference, Bukhari articulated the party's concern over the involvement of educated individuals in the attack, pointing out that this reflects a troubling trend of ''white-collar'' radicalization. The party's working committee passed a resolution highlighting the necessity for the Indian government to initiate a public dialogue with Jammu and Kashmir residents to foster peace and stability.
JKAP stressed the importance of bridging the gap between New Delhi and the people of Jammu and Kashmir, noting that mistrust only fuels violent activities. The party also urged immediate action, including local elections and addressing the grievances of daily wagers, to steer Jammu and Kashmir towards a stable future.
