Amid swirling media speculations of a potential leadership shake-up within Karnataka's ruling Congress, Home Minister G Parameshwara firmly reiterated the party's stability on Tuesday, dispelling any notions of internal divisions.
The senior Congress leader brushed aside rumors of an imminent leadership shift and cabinet reshuffle, claiming these matters were media-fueled and had not been deliberated within the party. His comments come amid chatter about a power-sharing agreement between Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Deputy CM D K Shivakumar.
Adding to the discourse are plans to extend Bengaluru's metro services to Tumakuru, a move criticized by opposition BJP as costly. Furthermore, a notable digital scam in which a woman was defrauded of Rs 32 crore has drawn serious governmental attention.
