Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is confident about BJP's prospects in the MCD bypolls. She stated that the candidates have been garnering substantial public support, which is anticipated to be evident in the election results.
Addressing a roadshow on the final day of campaigning for Anita Jain, BJP's candidate for Shalimar Bagh B ward, Gupta emphasized that while many parties boast about their chances, it is the electorate's choice that truly matters. She assured that the support would ensure BJP's continued leadership in guiding Delhi's development.
The upcoming bypolls, scheduled for November 30 with results on December 3, see BJP facing stiff competition from AAP and Congress across the 12 contested wards. Having secured nine of these after last year's assembly triumph, BJP is aiming for a decisive win.
