Tajikistan's foreign ministry confirmed the use of an unmanned aerial vehicle laden with explosives in this act of aggression. Despite the severity, no group has yet taken responsibility for the attack. Authorities in Tajikistan have condemned the incident and urged Afghanistan to bolster their border security to prevent future occurrences.
The Chinese Embassy in Afghanistan issued a warning to its citizens and companies involved in local mining operations, strongly advising them to vacate the region. Emphasizing safety, the embassy requested immediate contact with local police or the embassy itself in emergencies. Additionally, a call has been made for a comprehensive investigation by Tajik authorities to ensure the safety of Chinese citizens and projects.
