Gruesome Daylight Murder of Student in Uttar Pradesh Ignites Old Rivalry

A 7th-grade student was murdered in broad daylight in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, over an old feud. The attack, witnessed by the victim's brother, intensified tensions in the village. Police reported that the gruesome act was motivated by a rivalry from a previous murder case.

In a shocking incident, a class seven student was murdered in broad daylight in Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh. This tragedy, said to be linked to an ongoing feud over a murder from January, unfolded near Sirsaganj road, under Dannahar police jurisdiction.

Police disclosed that the young victim had gone to graze cattle when he was ambushed by individuals from the same village. His younger brother, present nearby, witnessed the brutal attack. By the time the family arrived after being alerted, the attackers had gruesomely beheaded the boy with an axe and escaped.

The murder has escalated tensions in Jaramai village, amidst a backdrop of hostility stemming from a murder case filed earlier this year against the victim's family. Police officials, including SP City Arun Kumar Singh, confirmed the killing was an act of vengeance. Three suspects have been named in the case, which remains under further investigation.
