During discussions that showed promise toward shaping a security framework for Ukraine post-conflict, representatives from both nations stressed that meaningful progress depends on Russia's genuine commitment to enduring peace. This assertion came from U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff, Jared Kushner, Ukraine's Rustem Umerov, and Andriy Hnatov after further meetings in Florida.

The massive attack, deploying 653 drones and 51 missiles, targeted Ukrainian infrastructure, coinciding with Armed Forces Day in Ukraine. Despite Ukrainian forces neutralizing many attacks, at least eight people were injured, with extensive damage reported across the country, especially in its power sector.
